Dance, Play & Sing!

The Summer Concert Series kicked off last week and it has been SO MUCH FUN!  If you've never come out for the concerts, please grab a lawn chair and join us!

We kicked off the series with a crowd favorite - The Okee Dokee Brothers.  Joe and Justin are amazing performers and just really, really nice guys!    We had over 450 people in attendance and it was a great concert!

On Thursday, we kicked off the adult concerts with Mick Sterling and the Irresistible.  This is the third year we've had Mick perform and he doesn't disappoint!  What a voice!

Today we had do much fun with Koo Koo Kanga Roo!  It rained a few times as we were getting set up, but we crossed our fingers that the show would go on and it did!  These two guys have so much energy and it is the one concert that has everyone - including the adults - up and moving!  We ended up having to end the concert a little early due to the rain, but I think that everyone had a lot of fun while it lasted!

Third Annual Summer Concert Series

We are getting ready to kick off the third annual Summer Concert Series! This year, we are featuring local favorites like Mick Sterling, Tim Mahoney and GB Leighton as well as some new favorites. Join us on Wednesday mornings from 10AM-11AM for music and interactive play for the kiddos. Our first kid's concert is this Wednesday, July 11. Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and come out to see the Okee Dokee Brothers! Come early to get a spot, as these guys are always a crowd favorite!

On Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30, enjoy the sounds of rock, pop, blues and more! Lakes Tavern & Grill will be cooking out at the concerts, so grab a brat or a hot dog and enjoy the show! Mick Sterling kicks off our concert season on Thursday, July 12.

Another Fun Girl's Night Out!

Just shy of 500 women joined us on Thursday night for Girl's Night Out!  That means that Tubman will be able to help 500 women start over after leaving a domestic violence situation!  Way to go ladies!  Thanks so much for coming.  We hope you enjoyed yourselves and would love to hear your feedback from the event.  Here are a few photos we snapped during the event.

Chico's Is Now Open!

Grab your gal pals and head to Woodbury Lakes on Thursday, April 26 from 4-8:30PM. Enjoy exclusive offers and discounts in participating stores, entertainment, prizes and more!

Admission to the event is the donation of a new or gently used purse (or $10 without a purse). 100% of the proceeds will benefit Tubman, Minnesota's largest multi-service domestic violence agency. The purses are given to women who are rebuilding their lives after fleeing a domestic violence situation - sometimes with only the clothes on their backs.

The first 300 women to donate a new or gently used purse the evening of Girl's Night Out will receive a swag bag filled with goodies, so come early!

Registration
Starting at 4PM, visit the space across the courtyard from Jos. A. Bank (formerly Starbucks) to donate your new or gently used purse. You'll receive an event guide that lists participating stores and their offers, a wristband that will get you all the great deals, and if you are one of the first 300 in attendance, a free swag bag ($50 value).

Entertainment
Stop by the space next to Victoria's Secret to have your photo taken with your gal pals in a photo booth! From 4-6PM, meet Dez from KS95 and spin her prize wheel.

Shop and Win
As you shop, ask five stores to stamp your event guide. Drop it off in the registration room (formerly Starbucks) and you'll be entered to win a diamond pendant, a sapphire necklace, Coach sunglasses, Aveda gift packs, store gift cards, Woodbury Lakes gear and MORE!

Eat
Shopping is hard work! From 4-9PM, show your wristband at Lakes Tavern & Grill and receive a free GNOtini or glass of wine with the purchase of an appetizer or entree. Or, stop by Kinichi for half price drinks and appetizers.
