Holiday Open House

This Saturday was the offical start of the holiday season at Woodbury Lakes! The weather put a bit of a damper on the event, but not our holiday spirit. The reindeer thought is was the North Pole (even if they were afraid of the plows!) and Santa was right at home in the winter wonderland. Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with us!

Calling all Hot Mamas!

Hot Mama opened its doors today! Let me tell you - it is a really great store. From helpful, knowledgable staff, to great styles and colors and fun jewelry, to an area with video games, toys and snacks for kids, this store is a great addition to Woodbury Lakes.　

The Edina-based company currently operates 19 stores in seven states. The store, a chic boutique that caters to moms, was the third "child" for a local couple, Mike and Megan Tamte.　

After a traumatizing trip to a department store after having her first baby, Megan decided to create a store that would help moms dress hip and fun while being age appropriate and figure flattering. Her hope is that moms walk out of the store feeling confident and "hot," and ready for the boardroom, soccer game or date night with their husband.

30th Annual Woodbury Country Mile

This past Sunday was the 30th Annual Woodbury Country Mile. Woodbury Lakes has sponsored and hosted the event for the past 5 years. Each year, it has grown and evolved. It is a beutiful, scenic race to use to train for Grandma's, spend time with the family or try your hand at a 5K for the first time. Here are a few photos from the event.

Sad that it's Over...

Fall is such a great time of year...the vibrant colors, fresh new crayons, brand new jeans and school shoes, the State Fair...but it also means the end of summer. We love hosting the Summer Concert Series and today was our last kid's concert. It's SO MUCH FUN to see the kids out dancing and playing, meeting new friends and not having a care in the world. So it is kind of bittersweet to have it come to an end.

What a Gorgeous Day for a Concert!

This morning was the MacPhail Center for Music concert and we couldn't have ordered a better day! The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot, there wasn't a cloud in the sky - it was perfect! The kids had a lot of fun and so did the performers! It's hard to believe that next week is the end of the Summer Concert Series. Where has this summer gone? Pretty soon it is the State Fair and then back to school for the kiddos!
